How does the matching work?

You decide who you are and who you are looking for. AppFor2 only shows you people where both fit both ways and calculates a match score from that. Shared interests raise it further.

Why can't I see anyone right now?

Check that location access is enabled for AppFor2. In “My profile” you can increase the search radius (1 to 50 km) and lower the minimum match.

When can I message someone?

As soon as you've nudged each other. The chat then opens automatically.

Who can see my location?

Only people who match you – and even then only an approximate area (rounded to about 250 m). With home protection in “My profile”, you only appear at a fixed substitute point around your home.

Notifications arrive late (Android)?

Some manufacturers put apps to sleep in the background. In the app settings, set AppFor2 to “Unrestricted” under “Battery”; on Samsung also remove AppFor2 from “Sleeping apps”.

Block or report someone?

In their profile or in the chat via the “…” menu → “Block” or “Report”. Blocked people no longer see you and cannot message you.

Delete account

You can delete your AppFor2 account yourself, completely, at any time.
